On September 24, the Archdiocese of San Francisco is hosting their “Step out and Trust!” young adults’ conference. “Young adults are looking for personal connections,” said diocesan official Mary Jansen. “That’s why they gather at a conference like this, to find a peer group. One of the goals of young adult ministry, as set out by the United States bishops, is connecting young adults to a peer group, and that through this, they will be connected to Jesus and to the Catholic Church. Catholic Match is also sponsoring the Ohio Young Adult Conference, to be held in Cleveland on October 15. “This conference is a Catholic gathering of faith, friendship, and fun for young adults in their twenties and thirties, said Young Adult Ministry Specialist Mark Delsander. “We appreciate Catholic Match’s support of this year’s conference.”
