CatholicMatch.com Announces Record Pace for Events

Zelienople, PA, August 10, 2006 -- CatholicMatch.com is pleased to announce that 2006 is on pace for a record-setting year, as its members have organized an unprecedented number of gatherings in cities across the nation. From New York to Southern California, from Boston to San Antonio, Catholic Match members are using the power of technology to create new and vibrant communities of like-minded people.

It only took two weeks into the year for members to demonstrate their commitment to meeting new people--close to seventy ventured to New York City in the middle of January. The Big Apple wasn’t the only place on the Eastern seaboard to see successful events organized—Catholic Match was the venue for promoting events in Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Boston. And before spring was done another “CM Gathering”, as members affectionately called them was held in San Antonio.

By the summer of 2006, another successful event in Chicago had come off, and the excitement it created spawned a spin-off event in Florida for early 2007. Tracy Leonard organized “CM Chicago” in 2005 & 2006, and is preparing her hat trick for next summer. Tracy is a Catholic Match member and has also attended several events herself. The northern Illinois native has gone to Boston and Memphis, among other places to meet her growing circle of friends. “Each event is unique in its own way, Tracy said. “But our purpose is the same. We share our faith and we are proud to be a part of a great Catholic community. There is something for everyone at our CM Events. You will meet new friends and catch up with old ones…You realize that there is a real person behind the profile and picture and that they are 1000% more fabulous in real life.”
