We have been asked many times, "What does Acolyte mean?" In modern times, true customer service has become increasingly rare. Most companies target huge volumes with little emphasis on knowing or understanding their customers' individual needs. When our company was formed, we searched for a name that would accurately depict our primary focus: serving business needs through the application of technology.
The word Acolyte expresses the act of serving throughout many of its definitions.
ac·o·lyte (k-lt) n.
- To assist or serve.
- A devoted attendant.
[Middle English acolit, from Old French from Medieval Latin acolytus, from Greek akolouthos, attendant; see anacoluthon.]
